Recent works are black stoneware fired 'stealth squid', seedpods and waveforms.  Rather than the patterns depicted by unglazed areas as in my raku work, these pieces have been shotblasted with pattern masks to eat through the burnished, polished surface to reveal the tactile, textured grog beneath.   The inner 'kernel' is removable and repositionable.  See my Etsy for current stock (if none, please email me.)
